Belly kicks

Hey ~ Guess what?!

I just had my first glimpse of actually seeing my belly move when the baby kicked. I felt a couple strong kicks and actually thought to look; and sure enough, he gave me 3 more good kicks that I could actually see my belly bounce. Very cool.

(I just thought I'd share that with you since Terry's at work and Brody didn't seem to care when I showed him!)

Pregnancy update - 20 weeks

We are 20 weeks along today and had another doctor appointment this afternoon. The doctor said all his parts looked great on the ultrasound from a couple weeks ago, and we listened to the heartbeat again today which is always fun. Otherwise, that was about it. Terry and I were thinking afterwards we could probably get our own heart monitor and just call it in rather than wait 40 minutes in the waiting room for that little bit, but I guess the doc's gotta collect a couple bucks himself. Terry wore his Jamaica T-shirt, and I think that was half the conversation today - Sounds like our doc's been to Sandals Royal Caribbean himself.

I think I'm definitely starting to feel the baby now. I guess I've been feeling it for a while, just didn't know what it was. I assume it's him though since it's the same feeling each time.

So, that's our update for this week. Our next appointment is in May, but I'll think about sending another picture once he really starts to pop out there.
